BEACTIVE VILLAGE 2024
As part of the 2024 project, BeActive Village was established on September 28, 2024, in Istanbul, Türkiye’s most populous city, as the flagship national event of the European Week of Sport. The event transformed the city into a vibrant hub of physical activity, uniting people of all ages and backgrounds in an inspiring celebration of movement and well-being.
A diverse range of activity zones was created, including basketball, trampolining, long jump, mini football, and interactive sports courses, ensuring that participants could engage in sports in a fun and dynamic way. To further enhance engagement, mini competitions were organized, where participants had the chance to win exclusive BeActive gift kits, adding an element of excitement and motivation.
With an impressive 10,000 attendees, the event had a profound impact on both individuals and the community as a whole. Beyond just promoting physical activity, BeActive Village became a social gathering point, fostering community spirit, inclusivity, and shared experiences through the power of sport. Families, friends, and even strangers came together, strengthening social bonds while improving their health.
